PAVEL ŠPORCL – MY VIOLIN LEGENDS

The programm called My violin legends originated from a CD of the same title released in Supraphon label and a succesful autumn tour in 2013.

Pavel Šporcl pays tribute to great Czech violinists of the last two centuries and tells of their heritage, passed down from generation to generation. As a student of Professor Václav Snítil and a direct successor of the Czech violin school, he builds on his predecessors work, playing both their compositions for violin and piano as well as his own.
